Michael joined PNNL in 2009 as a Senior Engineer following twelve years in the commercial semiconductor industry. His current research efforts support Department of Energy programs focused on characterizing the performance of Connected Lighting Systems, and exploring their potential to provide grid services. Michael is a member of IES, IEEE, and ASHRAE; and consults with numerous energy efficiency organizations, standards and specification bodies, and early adopters.
