After his Michigan MBA, Jay Shuler spent 17 years in the Networking industry in technical and executive marketing roles at Nortel, AFC, Mariposa Technology, Luminous Networks, and Terawave. He began his Lighting career at Lumileds in 2007, then left to co-found what became Sensity Systems to create smart, networked outdoor lighting. Since 2015 he has been Director of Marketing at Xicato, where he is currently managing the Xicato Controls portfolio of smart lighting and IoT.
