The European Parliament has issued a proposal to amend Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. This draft amendment adds the following provisions (among others): • requires that there is a supplier established in the Union, which ensures that the substance or the mixture in question meets the requirements set out in that Regulation. • a substance containing more than one constituent, in the form of an individual constituent, an identified impurity or an additive for which relevant information referred to in paragraph 1 is available, shall be evaluated.
