Valerie Nubbe is a Managing Consultant in the Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure practice at Guidehouse Consulting in Washington, DC. She has over four years of experience working on strategic planning, modeling, research, and data analysis related to energy efficiency, demand flexibility, and lighting technologies. Since working at Guidehouse, Valerie has worked to support the DOE Lighting R&D program on several projects, including the LED Manufacturing and Supply Chain Study. In addition, she led the development of an analysis of potential of grid-interactive lighting technologies to provide efficiency and demand flexibility in buildings. She has also worked on various projects to estimate potential energy savings from lighting technologies using Analytica-based lighting market models. Prior to working at Guidehouse, Valerie worked as a science, technology, and policy fellow at the Building Technologies Office at DOE. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in environmental science and engineering from Northwestern University.
